This lot is an Original 1864 Wisden Paperback.

This lot is in good condition, it has a few foibles which I will explain below. I would describe it as an Original Paperback , with some restoration, however every page and cover is how Wisden made it. Not rebound and no facsimile pages or covers. I had it restored for my personnel set as I never thought id own two.

When I purchased the book a couple of years ago it had tape to the spine which I had removed , there is still some spine paper that survived this removal to the spine as shown in the pictures. There is restoration to the edge of the covers and corners, pages 13-16 are extended 1 cm to be uniform,

There are some markings and age related brownness to the odd page edge and some page corners are rounded, also a triangle mark to a page as shown and some more marks to pages 62-64 as shown.

I am pulling out all the things I have spotted after going through every page, so it may sound a bit of a war zone but it is not, it is tightly bound , clean pages over all and all text within the book is readable and original. Every page checked.

The book has some history, it appeared in Wisden Cricket Monthly as their picture of the 1864 (they didn't ask) , it was also an exhibit in the Leamington Spar Going for Gold Art exhibition.

A very rare book. Collectors only please as deserves to be loved.
