Hi,

This lot is a set of three Wisdens, if going from now back to the start, they are the first three of the ultra difficult first 15 to buy. This is the perfect way to pick them up cheaply and start the final 15 quest, the ultimate goal for any collector.  So 1876 1877 & 1878 are here, all rebound in a similar binding, in green with a leather strip to the spine with gilt, beautiful patterned page edges, rebound without covers. I may split but nice to keep them together. They have been kept in plastic removable covers to preserve them. 

The rebinds are good for their age but like any old book there are things to point out.

1876 : Very nice clean pages, some spotting to page 5 and the last page 

1877 : Simialr to the 1876, some spotting to the last couple of pages and a slight weakness to th rear hinge. 

1878 : Very nice and clean, no spotting, pencil mark to the first page but the last pages and penutlimate have crude tape marks as shown. Some wear to gilt area of spine.

Although paperbacks these three years cost me over £8000 for my set.
