This 1946 Wisden Original Publisher's Hardback is in VERY GOOD condition.
The 1946 hardback was produce in two variant bindings - the more commom dark brown cloth and the scarcer light brown.
The one offered for sale is the light brown
The front and rear boards are really bright and unmarked with sharp corners and the gilt is really bright to the front - exceptional for this year.
The spine is really sturdy and clean but has faded somewhat although the gilt to it is still bright .
The front and rear hinges are really strong.
The contents are really clean, bright and unmarked.
But for the faded spine an immaculate copy.
