Hi,
This lot is an 1891 Original Wisden , Rebound without its original covers, well they are inside but the cover part is stuck down to the main boards to make it feel like an original hardback (white first page not yellow). The binding is very similar to an 1896 hardback , hence it is a very special book, with similar gilt to the spine and covers just like an 1890s hardback, internally the binding is a bit loose but still bound as one just the pages are not uniform at the spine , odd spot , mainly to the page block but a lovely rebind that mimics the HBs so highly collectable and a rare year too.
