Hi,
This lot is an 1897 Original Wisden , Rebound with blue boards and gilt to the spine, bound to the title page hence no covers or adverts.
The boards are in blue and it was bound a while ago so it feels a bit old, internally however it is excellent, clean pages and tightly bound with photoplate a nice cheap way to add an original 1897 to your set. Strategy 1. Hard year to find.
Strategy 1 is the term we use for the "grab any book for that year" strategy irrespective of content and condition, could be mint could be a bit tatty but at the right price. This being a rebind in good condition at a great price makes it fit that strategy perfectly. It would also make a great gift.
