Hi,
This lot is a set of 5 Wisdens. 1949 1950 1953 1954 and 1956 Original Wisdens , Rebound with the Original Covers.
In Good to Very Good condition. The Binding is Excellent. 1956 is 9/10
This Wisdens are very nicely bound , they have leather corners and spine area, gilt to the spine and patterned to the main area of the boards, the binding itself would be about £100 per book, well above the sale price here! £400 to £500 in rebinding costs for under £200! The covers are a touch worn except for the 1956 which is excellent, you don't see many 40s bound being linens. Internally the books are in good condition with some wear but excellently bound. Please ask any questions.
