Hi,
This lot includes TWO facsimile box sets, the 1864 to 1878 created by Willows in 2012/3 , limited to 150 , this is numbered but the number is unknown as the books have been in the box since creation, hence mint but you can only find the number once opening we have kept them in the original box to preserve the fact they have never seen the light of day, the second box set is 1879 to 1886 , the box set we created in very similar style to the Willows. These are numbered too , both sets x of 150 but the x will be different (unless you are very lucky). So 1864 to 1886 in Facsimile in one lot.
Mint Condition. You can choose a number of the second set if available.

Hi,
We are delighted to announce that we have just signed a contract with Wisden to produce 150 reprints of 1879 to 1886 , including 50 box sets. The box set will look very similar to the 4th edition of the "first 15" produced by Willows in 2013. The facsimiles will be identical to the current 1879-1886 Willows.
Brand new and available from mid Summer 2021.
If you order a box set, you can pick your number. (Assuming not taken by a leather collector).
In a recent auction the prices of Willows were as follows :

1881 £149
1882 £198
1883 £149
1884 £149
1885 £105
1886 £174
Sum £1234 and so a hefty saving.
