Hi,
This lot is an 1940 Original Hardback Wisden, the hardest Hardback to find in super condition, bar none.
This book is in OK+ condition, the boards are quite dulled and have some white marks to the top right of the front and top of the rear , the gilt is fading to the front and faded on the spine and these is a diagonal crease to the front board which if you turn the board over you can see the crack coming through the advert page. The hinges are weak but not broken and it is very tightly bound. Nice clean pages inside, about average for this poor year. Nice price as VG ones sell for £1200
