This lot is an Original 1937 Hardback Wisden .
It is in very good condition, the era of ‘33 to 1937 were not the best of hardbacks as Wisden swapped materials in ‘33, it resulted in poorer quality Wisdens but I am pleased to say that this 1937 is far better than most for the year.
The front and spine gilt is excellent for a poor year, some slight fading to the spine, the boards are very good a slight dullness and a couple of small marks, there is a name to the top of page ii and iii , great hinges and clean pages inside with a great photoplate.
Hard to find in good condition, this is better than many.
