This is an Original Paperback Wisden for 1875, The Scarcest Wisden

1875, the black tulip of Wisdens, the ultimate goal in any ones collection is to own one’s in original form. I have been selling Wisdens for 20 years and WisdenAuction has been running for 14 years allowing sellers to sell their own books, in all this time not a single 1875 paperback has been sold or listed, so this is a first for us. This paperback does have a rebacked spine (the original spine relayed and strengthened) , the front cover has part (1/6^th) of a tea cup stain , there is wear to the covers at the edges and the next couple of pages are worn, it has been well handled over the years but comes in a box to protect it, it is such a rare book , how many covers on an 1875 have you seen for sale at auction , perhaps 6 in 20 years. Purchased by John for £37,500. The 1875 holds the highest price at auction for a single Wisden , £35k by Christies. OK Condition.
