Hi,
This lot is an Original 1941 Wisden Hardback with a nice twist.
The twist to this book is that attached to page 3 is a one page letter signed by the editor Haddon Whitaker , the Owner a WF Curtis (bookplate to page 2) must have written to Haddon and Haddon expressed his thanks for his letter in such a year when the bok was tricky to create.
The book itself has quite worn boards and the gilt to the front is fading and the spine gilt has faded, strong hinges which is nice to see and very clean pages inside after page 4 as page 2 and 3 have the book plate and letter attached. no restoration.
