Original paperback 1926 without its front and covers and with badly disintegrated spine (title just about visible) but otherwise still in one piece with all pages from 3 to 678 in good condition. This was once owned by a cricket writer so there are various erasable 'highlighting' markings made in pencil (including alongside the text in a tribute feature on Jack Hobbs, who in 1925 had not only scored over 3000 first class runs but had overtaken WG's record of 126 hundreds). This took the place, for the 1926 edition, of the 'Five Cricketers of the Year' so Hobbs portrait is the only plate in the volume. In addition the year has been written on the outside of the top, bottom and outside edge, one assumes so that it could be found quickly among others in a dinghy pressbox. These marks apart the pages themselves are undamaged with no tears. Would suit someone wanting to rebind.
