This lot is an Original 1940 Hardback Wisden
It is in Good condition but Very Good for the year.
Most 1940s are in poor shape (tell me about it after trying to find a mint one for a decade!) but this one is near the top end of condition, the boards are a bit worn and the gilt has some fade but internally the pages are clean and no sign of it faling to bits like normal. The front hinge is very strong but if being picky a touch of weakness to the rear hinge. Would suit many collectors sets. Very Rare Year in Hardback.
