Hi,
This lot is an 1949 Original Hardback Wisden, in Very Good condition. Amazing for the year.
1949s are never great but you would never know this looking at this book, it has bright gilt to the front and the spine which is very rare. Mark free boards, a couple of small ones to the spine. Owners name to first page small in pen, some newspaper clippings loosly within. A strong front hinge and clean pages, the rear hinge has a touch of weakness but not broken at all. For a 1949 this is near the top.
