This 1931 Wisden is an original publisher's hardback is in better than usual condition.
It's always difficult to find this year with a decent spine because effectively the book is a little too heavy for the covers and problems occur.
The covers on this 1931 are better than usual. The front and rear boards are clean and unmarked and the corners are sharp.
The gilt to the front board is bright as is the gilt to the spine. There are a couple of vertical creases to the spine and very slight wear at the head and foot but otherwise the spine is in very good condition.
Internally the front and rear yellow papers are very bright, clean and unmarked.
Both front and rear hinges are just starting to weaken.
The pages and photographic plate are in excellent condition - complete, original, clean and unmarked.
A nice copy.
