Hi,

This lot is a set of 4 Wisdens - 1924 to 1927 Rebound Wisdens , I say rebound, these are quite different rebinds. 

The books have been rebound in card covers but the front and rear cover are attached to the outside of the binding so they look like paperbacks with new spines. When you open the books you than have a blank page and then the rest of the book. 

These books are all just OK and would suit a collector that wants to fill 4 gaps up pretty cheaply. The spines are new in light grey and has gilt similar to that of a HB for this era. Some spotting to spines in all books. A different set but nicely priced.

In more detail :

1924 - Decent covers, some marks, page 2 is stuck to the rear of the front board making it complete. , clean inside with nice photoplate, 

1925 - Decent covers, some marks, page 2b is stuck to the rear of the front board , no rear cover on the back board. Nice photoplate and nice inside. 

1926 - Loss to the front cover (bottom left) , starts at page 3 , nice photoplate , some wear and spotting inside 

1927 - Nice covers, starts at page 3 , VG photoplate , clean inside and very presentable. 

Strategy 1 being the grab any year strategy irrespective of content and condition but at the right price. This being a rebind at a great price makes it fit that perfectly. It would also make a great gift.
