The covers of this 1937 Publisher’s hardback are in near very good condition. There is some discoloration towards the top of the spine. The spine gilt is bright. I think it is possible that the spine may have had some restoration work to it although if that is the case, it was done before I took possession of the book so I cannot be completely certain.
The front board is flat and the corners are straight. The gilt to the front cover looks completely original. The back board is flat without markings.
The front pastedown and yellow title page are in fine condition.
The top part of the rear pastedown is a little darkened and the colouring somewhat uneven.
The contents are complete, original, unmarked and in at least very good condition..
Overall and nice copy.
