DESCRIPTION
This volume comes from the collection I inherited from my great uncle, Brian Chapman who was a cricket journalist from after the second world war to the mid-70s, initially with the Daily Express and latterly with the Observer. No doubt, this Wisden accompanied him on the county circuit for that year and as such has had some use.
Covers are decent if a little grubby with a crease along the front edge. Someone has written "52 & 53" on back cover (see picture). Inside all is good.
