This volume comes from the collection I inherited from my great uncle, Brian Chapman who was a cricket journalist from after the second world war to the mid-70s, initially with the Daily Express and latterly with the Observer. No doubt, this Wisden accompanied him on the county circuit for that year and as such has had some use.

There is a bit of discolouration/wear to the front edge of the boards (it looks worse in picture than reality) and a couple of white spots on the back board. Pages browning. Brian has written his name on page iii. A servicable volume in average condition.
