We recently listed a few runs of hardbacks, we split a few of the sets at customers requests and so relisting the rest of them individually and knocking 10 percent off the price to make them even more attractive.

This book is an 1897 Original Hardback Wisden. A Very Rare Book.

In Good Condition. I find this book harder to find than 1896

This book is very hard to find, the boards have had some restoration, the gilt to the spine is restored and the front looks like the odd letter has been brightened. The right hand side of the front board is quite worn which is the main downside of the book, internally not bad at all, there are a couple of small tears to the odd page and the hinges show some weakness. The pastedowns are very nice and the pages are clean. Nice photoplate. The rear board has some wear to the edge. The odd fault but you can't be that picky when a book is so rare, this is listed at around half the price of other 1897s sold at auction.
