Hi,
This lot is an 1943 Original Wisden , Rebound with Covers
In Good condition.
You do not see many rebinds of the linens as they hold together well, they tend to be rebound by a collector to match the rest of the collection.
Here we have a very nice rebind that has mimicked the old style hardback binding , like 1937 and earlier, World war 1 years would be the closest match. Giit to the front and spine. The covers are bound within but they are a bit dark and tatty. Page 3 has a name to it and that page is a bit worn but after that it is very nice inside. Slight fading to the gilt on the spine. Tightly bound, a nice quirky rebind.
