Hi,
This lot is a 1916 Original Hardback Wisden.
A very rare original hardback Wisden, the covers are in very good condition. Gilt is bright to the front board and also to the spine, the latter where it has been restored. Internally the front and rear pastedowns are in excellent, bright condition. There is a repaired, closed, tear to the top left hand corner of page 33/34 not affecting the text and in places the very edges of the pages are rippled which is perhaps evidence of damp at some stage of the book's history. Nevertheless a very good copy of a very rare book offered at a very competitive price!
