This VERY RARE Original 1865 Wisden was recently in dark brown cloth with the title and year in gilt to the spine. The binding is in excellent condition. Both front and rear wrappers are retained,Both are complete but both are somewhat stained and marked as can be seen from the photos - still it's very rare to find the wrappers present at all on such an early issue. The title page and the first few pages are a little darkened at the base but otherwise the contents are in very good condition. Other than the rebind the book has had no restoration. VERY SCARCE and priced to sell.
