This lot is a rebound copy of the First Edition (second issue) of William Lamberts "Instructions and Rules for playing the Nobel Game of Cricket as practised by the most eminent players"

Published in the Spring of 1816 so nearly 200 years old. 

This is rebound in half calf that has some wear. Inside the book has some spotting and marks to the pages, it contains the wonderful folding engraved frontispiece.
